I have been in the lifestyle for about 6 years now. I am currently in a relationship with a newbie Dom so the D/s part of the relationship continues to change, grow and evolve on a regular basis. We are looking for trainers/teachers for him and playmates for us both to enhance our relationship and grow the D/s relationship. We are both open to most all activities and there are things out there that we want to try and just haven't had the opportunity to do so yet. I am in a wheelchair so if that is a problem then please don't contact us but I want you to know that I won't break. The only difference between me and anyone else is that I am sitting down all the time while you stand. Otherwise we are pretty much the same so give us a chance. You won't be disappointed.

PONY PLAY

Pony Play is literally play where a Dom/me uses his/her sub like a real pony, from riding them to telling them where to go and what to do.  Pony Play can combine bondage, discipline, dominant/submissive and even Sadomasochism.  It appears that Pony Play became a hot fetish in the late 1990’s.  Although there is evidence that it has been around for quite a long time.  The equipment or clothing that is used during Pony Play depends on what is agreed upon between the participants.  It can range anywhere from the pony being ridden naked to having them wear a corset which symbolizes a saddle, a bit gag, blinders, a leash, boots and a tail.  There are both male and female ponies although most riding ponies are men, as most women can’t handle the weight.

There are 3 different types of ponies.  There are cart ponies, which are trained to pull carts or chariots.  These types of ponies usually work in pairs.  There are riding ponies.  This form of pony can actually be ridden.  Finally, there are show ponies.  These ponies are judged based on their appearance, form and style.  During Pony Play there can be 3 different participants that handle the pony.  There are the groomers.  These people take care of the pony before and after training sessions.  They perform such duties and combing the ponies hair and bathing them.  Next there are the trainers.  Their function is exactly as it sounds.  They are responsible for training the pony.  The trainer doesn’t usually wear a specific sort of gear for training.  The trainer also should not be a sadistic trainer but should be firm.  They should be able to use the reins and a crop to keep the pony in line.  Lastly, there are the Masters/Mistresses.  These individuals actually own the pony.  Both the groomers and the trainers defer to the Master or Mistress when there are questions about the pony, as the Master or Mistress have the final say in every decision.

Ponies don’t communicate except for neighing and whinnying. They also have their hands bound behind their backs during training and in general are treated as an animal rather than as a person.  A pony will be expected to walk in the pony step.  This step involves them raising their knees to approximately crotch height when walking.  Occasionally, the high pony step is seen which is simply raising the legs a bit higher like to the waist.  Cart ponies are sometimes expected to do this as well, but this is an impractical step for a pony actually pulling a cart.  Riding ponies should not be required to do this step if they are unable to do it and carry their load or if it causes discomfort.  If they can do it without injury, which is the trainers responsibility not the pony’s all the better.  As with any kind of play within the lifestyle safewords are a part of Pony Play as well.  However, with Pony Play if the pony is wearing a bit gag a safe gesture may have to be used.  Also during training when the pony’s hands are bound behind their backs and if they are wearing a bit gag some other sort of signal will have to be agreed upon to act as a safeword.  In the end it is up to the Dom/me to pay attention to the pony and their body language or facial expressions to help them know when the pony has reached that point.  One hint is if the pony’s legs begin to shake that is an indication that the pony is getting tired and play may need to stop to give the pony a chance to rest.

BREATH PLAY

Recently I had the opportunity to experience breath play during a visit from my Dom.  At first I had a belt put around my neck while the two ends of the belt were pulled in opposite directions causing the belt to become tighter and tighter around my neck.  This was done while I was sitting in a chair.  The longer the belt was cinched around my neck the more lightheaded I became.  It was a very light feeling almost as if I were floating.  The room even began to become fuzzy.  It was at this point that I raised my hand which in the case of breath play was my agreed upon gesture to be used like a safeword.  Later during my experience with breath play I had a rope cinched around my neck while lying down.  Believe it or not this experience created a whole different type of sensation as the rope was being cinched tighter and tighter.  During this time I felt as if pressure was building up in my head, which then led to getting a headache.  I can say this experience was not nearly as pleasurable as the experience with the belt in a chair.  I can’t say for sure but I am assuming that it was sitting up versus lying down that created these 2 entirely different sensations.  All in all I really enjoyed myself and definitely do want to experience my breath play in the future.

With all that said.  I would never have agreed to try breath play with just anyone.  It is one of the activities of the lifestyle that can be potentially dangerous even deadly.  That is why I only agreed to breath play with my Dom because I completely trust that he would never do anything to intentionally harm me.  I think it is really important to make sure that you trust your Dom and have strict guidelines and signals set up before any play begins.  Also your Dom should have some experience with breath play if possible or at least have done research into the topic as to how to do it etc.  I think the number one priority to consider and prepare for is safety.  Just in case you should have a safety plan in place in case something does go wrong because as with anything accidents can happen.  With breath play there is always the possibility of passing out so make sure before you begin that there is nothing around that the sub can fall into and hurt themselves, like the corner of a table.  There are many different types of breath play that can be experienced.  Of course the one that I experienced which is being choked.  Another form of breath play is having your nose pinched and mouth covered so you are unable to breath.  Yet another is having your head covered with something such as a plastic bag or saran wrap, which will restrict your ability to breathe.  Finally there is underwater breath play where the use of water is used to restrict the subs ability to breathe.
