About Lancealittle
I'm currently not looking for anything other than friends/play partners. I'm currently in a wonderful relationship with a perfect little princess.
I'll try to keep this short but that most likely won't happen. So... I'll title the sections of this so you can skim.
Experience in the lifestyle:
I've been in the lifestyle for a little over a year now and it's been a busy year. I'm a member of Sanctuary in Dallas and a number of BDSM related groups that meet there. Over the course of the year I've been very active and built up a decent repertoire of toys and skills. For the last year I've been in a relationship with a wonderful little girl who's experience in the lifestyle really helped me jump ahead of the class so to speak. I'm always looking for play partners and friends though.
As I said I'm very active in the lifestyle. I go to the Sanctuary at least once a month, usually 2-4 times depending on what the various groups are up to and I love playing there and just hanging out with like minded folks.
About me:
I'm 28 years old HWP and DD free, etc. All those happy yahoo chat room statistics. I have a successful career as a network architect and own my own home which I am currently working towards selling. Aside from work and BDSM related activities I'm in an Irish rock/traditional band and have a myriad of hobbies from leatherworking, music, reading, gaming, to rennaisance festivals and general tom foolery around Dallas and Fort Worth.
Appearance wise, I keep my head shaved clean once a week and change my facial hair up every few months or so. I've got red facial hair and brown hair when it grows in. My eyes are blue, or green, or grey, it really depends on who's looking at them it seems. I'm fair skinned and in decent shape though I could lose a few pounds. I'm stronger than my build lets on and love physical activity.
BDSM related interests:
Damn near everything that doesn't involve scat, drugs, children or animals. I'll try just about anything once and most likely a few more times just for good measure. My standards are rythmic caning and a good old fashion beating. I've some experience with fire play and am learning needles. I also love electricity. I have a violet wand, tazer, a shock collar, etc. I can be nice or nasty with any of my toys depending on my mood and the tastes of my bottom. I'm not going to list off everything I like to do here, Ill try to update the list of interests in my full profile as accurately as possible so you can check there.
Feelings on BDSM and relationships:
For me the lifestyle is just that, a lifestyle. I don't "play" at BDSM. My relationships will be D/s on some level. There will be rules and roles and they'll be followed or the relationship simply will not work. I've never been more comfortable in life than I am with people who understand the way I feel and accept me for being a sadist and a Dominant. I get excited by screams and whimpers but I'm also a caring person and get just as excited over moans of pleasure and giggles of happiness. Play, to me, should primarily be fun for both parties. I want to enjoy the activity and I'd like that my bottom does as well. I will ask a submissive to do some activities they don't particularly enjoy as "play" as long as they can be satisfied with the fact that they're doing it as a service to me. On the flip side I'll also do activities that I don't particularly like as a reward for a good submissive and be happy with that. The type of play I don't really enjoy is when the submissive/bottom does not enjoy the activity and cannot reconcile within themselves that it's a service and therefore be happy with themselves for doing it. These things happen but I try to avoid them through thorough negotiation. Now...Punishment is a different hat. If you're bad or break a rule you'll be punished and I don't particularly WANT you to enjoy that now do I?
What I'm looking for:
Friends, play partners, etc. I love showing new folks around. I'd love to find some one with an electrical fetish so I can break out my zappy toys and have some fun :)

Christmas at the Sanctuary!
Hello all,
There is a party this Saturday at the Sanctuary, it's bound to be a blast!
If you've never been to the dungeon for whatever reason, this is my open offer to play kinky tour guide. I'll answer any questions I can about the club, show you around, and introduce you to all the wonderful people I've met over the last year of hanging out there. Message me here if you're interested. So,
I recently had an odd interaction and I thought I'd share part of it. I recieved a message here from a submissive type that I'd emailed because of some mutual interests. The email was well worded and full of the "Y/you" style that seems quite popular online. I politely mentioned that I don't participate in that particular trend and don't expect it from people I communicate with and that I hoped she wasn't offended by the fact that I wouldn't be typing that way.
The response was... well, offensive. I was told I'm obviously not a "real" dominant if I don't feel that it's neccessary to capitalize myself, etc.
Putting aside the irony of being told I'm not a "real" dominant because I don't participate in a practice that was primarily started to support online relationships/scening, I was very polite in my message. It's simply not something I'm into or willing to do.
The entire interaction is a good example of something that I think a lot of people forget in our lifestyle. We're kinky, we're "different" than the accepted norm. By virtue we MUST be more accepting of other peoples tastes and limits. I'm not into scat but I don't judge some one who is or tell them they're wrong or that they're not "real" because they do something I don't like or want to participate in. I don't expect to have some one tell me I'm not "really" into the lifestyle because I don't enjoy scat, why should the fact that I don't capitilize certain words be any different?
We have to be accepting of each other, we come to sites like this to meet or at least interact in some way with people who understand we have desires that fall outside of the normal set. Creating new walls within our little open garden does nothing but push us back into an environment exactly like the one we came here to escape.
We all have our own rules and limits and tastes. The next time you run into a fellow kinkster or lifestyle person and you feel like they're "wrong", ask yourself how you'd feel on their end of it. Chances are you're into something they're not.
We have very few "rules" in our little kinky world, SSC, RACK, and I'm sure some other little acronyms I'm forgetting... The bottom line is we are all on our own journey and as long as we're not harming people (subjective!) then it's our journey to take and no one has a right to tell you that you're wrong, and you have no right to tell anyone else they're wrong.

If you haven't read my profile, I don't blame you... it's bloody long. So, here's a little journal entry with a summary.

When I started this lifestyle a short while ago, I "thought" I knew it'd make me happy. I've found out as I progress more and more that it does in fact make me happy, complete, and whole.
