Dentist versus Domme

 

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the vanilla world seems to emulate the world of kink that we live in? They have similarities, but also differences that set each of them apart from one another. Yesterday I had an appointment with my dentist for my six month checkup and teeth cleaning. And earlier this week I had a session with Mistress, well, for whatever she had in mind for me. Two events that shared many aspects....

 

In each instance, I was flat on my back...
In each instance, I had something in my mouth - unable to speak...
In each instance, I willingly entered the room...
In each instance, I gave control of what was to occur to over to another...
In each instance, I experienced pain at the hand of another...
In each instance, I had a reminder of that pain the next morning...

 

Much in common, but so so far apart in how I feel about each event.

 

One of them I tried to schedule a follow up as far in the future as possible. The other I would do again in a heartbeat.
One of them I could have cared less about how the person felt. The other I was keenly aware that I was giving pleasure to the person.
One of them I was doing out of necessity. The other I was doing out of respect.

 

As in everything, while there may have been similar circumstances, it all comes down to the relationship that you have built and nurtured over time.

 

For me, I'll always take the Domme over the Dentist.
