About Knewtothelife
First and foremost, I identify as a nerd. I enjoy video games, tabletop rpgs, miniature games, fantasy and sci-fi media of all kinds, and writing. If this is a problem for you we likely won't get along very well. I'm sorry to start it off in such a negative way but I have gotten crap about this before, so I thought it best to start laying all my cards on the table. Now that that's out of the way, I went to Cherry Creek High School but found that the public education environment wasn't right for me, so I got my GED and am planning to go to college soon.
Another thing to keep in mind; Standard, non-thought out answers aren't something I do. Other people can do it freely, I'm not here to tell other people how to talk, live their lives or go about their daily business, but in regards to myself I tend to think out everything I say. If you ask me how I am, I will not usually say "I'm well." Even if I am doing well. I'm more likely to say something like, "Well, I got a lot of writing done today and found twenty bucks on the street, so I'm fantastic." Or, "Nothing particularly bad has happened today, so I'm doing well." Or perhaps, "Considering a lovely Domme is talking to me I'd say I'm doing wonderfully at the moment." I mean every one of those examples, and I don't consider the latter flattery. I'm just being honest. I generally find it's best to be open about how you feel.
I consider myself a beginner. I have some experience, but not nearly as much as I would like. I've mostly gone to some private parties with friends, some of you may recognize me, but I doubt it. I'm very, very good at playing wallflower, and I'm good at not being seen even when I'm taking in everything around me.
With a couple of girlfriends, I experimented with kink early on. I liked it far more then they did. Since then normal sex and vanilla sexuality has seemed so dull it feels stagnant the second it arrives in my brain. Another interesting note, slavery is a subject that fascinated me before I even realized it could be sexual in any way... I did a lot of reports on it in school.
I enjoy reading, writing, acting, playing bass guitar, painting miniatures and planning out adventures for RPG groups. I tend to be the Game Master in any RPG I play, and the irony of posting that on this profile is not lost on me.
Some describe me as snarky, with a mean-spirited sense of humor and a sarcastic streak a mile wild. I don't think of my sense of humor as mean-spirited, I think it's more like I tend to find everything funny (seriously, I laugh at some jokes that would make carrot top sigh in shame), but when you laugh at something mean-spirited it tends to stand out more. The sarcastic part, and perhaps the snarky part as well, is very true. In truth, I have a hard time NOT being sarcastic. I don't consider myself mean though, I know when to turn it off if it will hurt someones feelings or seem disrespectful.
In truth, and I think most of my friends would agree with me, I like to think of myself as a fun, generous person and I enjoy having fun and making people smile. I'm the kind of guy who brings food to every party he goes too and doesn't like letting his friends pay. I've been told I have five different laughs, none of which have any particular kind of humor attached to them. They come and go as they please.
I love movies of all kinds, and can make a great night out of sitting down and watching truly terrible movies, laughing at how bad they are.
I'm generally open to most kinks right now. I think the standard trio of Scat, Blood and Children is enough to fill out my NO list at the moment, but I will add more if I feel the need.
I'm hoping to find a domme to teach and train me, maybe spin into a long term thing. Play partners, friends, even poly relationships don't bother me. I'm not even remotely jealous, and tend to be easygoing about most things.
