BACK TO SCHOOL Summer may not be over, but vacation is. Back to school today...ugh.
Got a hair cut yesterday. A cute shoulder length pageboy. The difference in maintaining it is already noticeable. I love how I only have to run a comb through it a few times, & it's so much easier to wash!
I've had a job for about a month now & tried to get a land line last week, but to no avail. SBC was supposed to send someone out (though they really didn't need to), but no one showed & I didn't get a call. Very upsetting. I'll be giving them a call today. C'est la vie.

HOME SWEET HOME
I suppose I should update....
I found a new place to stay in the Valley.? The only drawback is that I can't entertain there, as it's someone's home.? But I couldn't beat the combination of location & rent.? Everyone there is friendly, but private & I like it that way.
My internet usage is sporadic, as I can't afford a land line there...yet.? I can usually check email during the week?on campus?though.
I did get a cell phone.? Prepaid though.? It's astounding how horrible I am at rationing minutes.?

WELL NOW, THAT CRAMPS MY STYLE...
I'm being kicked out of my apartment.
I have to the end of finals (end of next week (May 28), to get out of there. Yikes! I get to clean, pack, study for & take my finals all in one week. This should be lotsa fun.
I've got no money til financial aid kicks in, so it looks like I'm moving home for a while. SUCKAGE!
I'm going to try to come back & apt. hunt in June though... we'll see how that works out.
So, my apologies, fellows. Looks like I'll be MIA for a while. I really hate flaking on people, but I don't have much choice at the moment.
I AM serious about becoming a good sub, though, so please don't write me off!
