Spent the afternoon at Borders... found two books worth mentioning: The Way Of The Superior Man: A Spiritual Guide to Mastering the Challenges of Woman, Work, and Sexual Desire by David Deida -- this made so many things clear to me that I'm looking for... it's a very zen approach to the topic so if you're not open to that kind of thing it might not be as interesting to you... but it's amazingly insightful. I think it's the kind of book you will either love or hate. I think it's brilliant. Contact: The Yoga of Relationships by Tara Guber -- maybe it's just me, but there's just something really hot about a man and woman's  bodies all tangled up together. And men and women that do a lot of yoga have such nice bodies. It's going on my coffee table.

I've been unable to get online to respond to email for a couple of days and now I'm behind. Too tired to work on it right now... but today is the official end of my birthday. On the Hebrew calendar... my birthday is the 12th of Shevat... which is today. I'm now 50 any way you look at it :-) Shabbat Shalom

It's snowing!

By "fit" I mean as in you work out. I don't like body builder physiques... but I expect you are physically active and care about what you eat. Crossfit is my idea of serious physical fitness and the Zone or paleolithic diet is my idea of serious nutrition.

Several people told me about that site so i checked it out. I have to say that the log-in page has the best picture of a submissive I've ever seen. Ever. If you haven't seen it... do check it out, you don't have to sign up to see it.

I write this knowing that it will probably fail to reach the intended targets, but I gotta try... here's the thing... I will not use email like an IM system. I have IM turned off here intentionally so that when I'm here I can answer email. Please do not try to circumvent this by sending email that says, "So, how's it going?" I really hate ignoring people... I will think badly of people who force me to do that.

I'm a big fan of the Dog Whisperer... Cesar Milan is the epitome of dominant. What follows is something he said when talking about living with dogs but I think it applies to other relationships as well. ?The most important thing that we have to provide every day is that we are the pack leader, that we set the rules, the boundaries and the limitations, and then we love. Most of the people, they go to get a dog because they need somebody to love. So they are going after what they need, not what the dog needs. And that, to me, creates instability immediately, and the dog sees the human as a soft energy. So they don't follow the lovable leader or a spiritual leader; they follow a dominant one.?

It is my belief that being thin-skinned is NOT a characteristic of the kind of balanced, calm assertive man I'm looking for. If you're easily slighted... and worse, have great difficulty letting go of perceived wrongs... just don't even stop here... thank you drive through. :-)

OMG... I just watched "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room."  Forget about "Dawn of the Dead" or "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"... this, my friends, is a scary movie. Why is it that people expect the face of evil to come equipped with bad makeup and special effects? ;-)  Ok... today's reason why I thank God for creating me a Jew: I was taught to look for evil within myself and my community... not in an overstylized monster.
