somehow this, but part of us

and though we go away from here
we never go that far
as far as what has made me tick
gets me off and more
pushes all my buttons
makes my bottom sore
makes me want what i don’t want
what makes me ask for more
is mostly what i’m made of
as both we do explore
the past, the most, the rest of it
i’m not sure of the score
not that it’s the best of me
for that’s when i adore
thats when i go further
then i have ever been
even tho i'm lost now
somehow heaven sent
i went into a journey
got in along the way
even while i'm going
tis certain i will stay
the path that we once followed
suddenly remains
the place that we are a going
seems so much like the same
as we take this journey
