I am not actively "seeking" a submissive or sub/switch, however, if it happens, it happens. I am a workaholic and have limited time, and this makes for a problematic play schedule. Those who are interested in developing a D/s relationship with me should know this up front.

While playing with others until I find this is fine and fun, I'm definitely of the belief that a D/s relationship is one of the most intimate and fulfilling types of relationships out there and what's more intimate than completely falling in love with your submissive, and them falling in love with you back? That's just human nature, folks. Be prepared... in D/s with a sensual twist, the intimacy levels are a totally different dynamic, as well. It leaves you more open, more vulnerable. Sure, I can wield my crop or flogger like any other Mistress, but your aftercare will be far more tender and caring on an emotional level, as well as a physical level.
While I'm more Dominant than anything else, I'm very much a moderate switch at heart towards someone I develop feelings for, though I'm not into pain or degradation towards myself (yep, finally took the quiz, too... below!). I do enjoy being both seductive and rough, and my partner being so, as well... With maybe a touch of gratitude towards loving authority. I'm nowhere near a mean Domme, but can be strict when necessary... submission should just never have to force Dominance on a cruel level.

Something I've noticed in the past 2 decades, and maybe it's just the people I know... Unlike many women my age or younger in America, it seems, cooking has gone by the wayside. Maybe it's the economy, even I've noticed that specialty meals at home can be far more expensive than ordering them at a restaurant. But anyway, I rock at cooking/baking most foods... and what I don't know how, I'll research (I still have those gnarly, heavy things called cookbooks (a foreign language in California). Ever hear of those? I know we all have readers and tablets and computers, and I'll admit to being glued to my phone, too... but I still delve into the hardbound goodies now and then for a long-lost recipe that no one will ever find online. ;) Hell, I even slice my own fish and make my own sushi rolls. I live a mostly pescetarian diet out of personal choice (I've lost more than 100 lbs in the past 2 years!) and while I generally don't eat meat unless it's a special occasion or my arm is being twisted, I just avoid them out of personal preference, not conscience. I don't cook often enough because it's usually just me at home though... and I just REALLY hate doing the dishes, even though I have an automatic dishwasher. Isn't that what a good submissive is for from time-to-time?
Oh! and my guilty-pleasure, when-I-have-the-time-to-watch tv shows include South Park, The Simpsons, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, and I REALLY miss House (that character is so ridiculously like my analytical and sarcastic side, I swear... not only that, but the man is HOT... I admit it!). I'll also be the oddball and say that I'm one of the "older" gals that REALLY loved the Twilight movies (no, I will not go fan-mom on the cast, sorry), but REFUSE to read 50 Shades. That woman who wrote it (I can't bring myself to say author) infuriates me with just the few excerpts I've read over the shoulder of my coworkers. NO. THANK. YOU.
