As a Dom I usually go slowly until we get to know each other and find out if the chemistry is there. Playing with power and control is a lot more fun when I understand how it makes you feel and why, and when we have a real connection there. I make some exceptions but this is my general rule. It takes a special person to put me in a serious D/s mood but if you can do that I'll be thrilled. Heavy D/s and power exchange are more intense for me so I don't do them with just anyone. Likewise I only switch with someone I've gotten close to and am comfortable with.

I like to be good friends with the people I play with. I think the emotional connection makes everything a lot more intense, a lot more fun. I do sometimes play with people I don't know well but unless we become friends it never seems to last.
