Lesbian Domme seeking interaction with others. Not in a relationship. That status isn't likely to change as there are precious few lesbian submissive's, who are also Boomers, and who also share the common history of my generation. I prefer women who actually love life. While not looking, I'd like to communicate with others of the same mindset, because in all honesty friendship matters more.
For years I've been notoriously avoiding 24/7, because it seems too much like marriage. That and I've never met anyone with whom I could spend that much time. When it comes to 24/7 am simply not available on any level.
Experience : Adult Life D/s. Not into pain sluts, or topping from below. Prefer others to have one to 5 years experience, or to be upfront about what they actually have. Alpha femmes can just walk on by.
Retired, and content, able to kick back with friends, and family. In general quite happy. Love the sea, quiet, books, writing, keeping in touch with friends around the globe, warm weather, the tropics, photography.
I can't, and never will abide those who indulge in the base only because the riff is current. Nor will I tolerate homophobia, jingoism and xenophobia as they're unattractive, and far beyond the mean-spirited.
Single is a state of being I enjoy, with every intention of remaining so. Relocation is an non-starter. D/S is not all there is to life (for me). A heresy of sorts, yet as I grew older, a mellowness crept in, and I'm far more comfortable in my skin these days. Should you wish to know more, ask... Seeking a confident woman , a Lady and a submissive.. in her 50's or 60's .. with the spirit of adventure, a taste for the unusual, and has laughter in her soul.
I'm in a wheelchair, and if you can't deal with that, there's nothing to build a friendship on. Take it as an article of faith, there's no interest in even talking if you wish to discriminate. Period. |

The radiation treatments are, to put it mildly, kicking my ass, draining much energy, leaving most of my mail without a response, and at worst unopened. To those who've sent mail, please bear with me, I will try to get back to you when possible.
Christmas was one of the best ever ... and there have been many to chose from. Wishing all have had the same, and of course, a new year filled with grand craic, with love, and pleasant changes. |

Listening to the late, and Mighty Odetta, and her styling of Waterboy. Must be a good 40 plus years old. There are times when only her voice soothes the savage breast. An incredible voice, raw, powerful, and she had the gift of that up-stoke, followed with a rapid down-stroke, and that guitar sang. Can vividly recall her that hot August day in Washington D.C., on that crowded mall when the nation changed for the good, and we believed. Listening to Martin Luther King, as each syllable enunciated perfectly, reaching this idealist there is no shame in admitting tears were not uncommon, generational, nor were they born of color: they were the beginning of the end of Jim Crowe laws, the starting point of the true change in the South, and they were hope. Something I've lived long enough to see to fruition. Sadly Odetta passed away before she could sing at the Inaugural of the first black President of the United States, yet her presence was there, looming large and gentle. On that very same day in August of 64, there were others who gave voice to the movement, and one recently sang for the POTUS, the FLOTUS, and their absolutely delightful daughters, and many folks my age, all of whom knew the lyrics to "We Shall Overcome". It was Joan C. Baez, who frequently sang with Odetta, and should you feel in the mood for more than a vocal treat, head on over to that marvel, youtube and run a search for Odetta and Midnight Special, Ruby Dee & Odetta ( guaranteed to blow you away) , Waterboy, Take this Hammer, Jim Crowe Blues, Improv (with both Joan and Odetta - only one word describes it -" In - fracking - credible " - at Girty's Folk City in N.Y.). JCB also sang with Mary Travers, the drop dead gorgeous blonde who followed Odetta into that good night. Look all three up, it's well worth your time. As are Jessye Norman, Dame Cleo Laine, and Dame Vera Lynn. |

Pondering the sudden round of self proclaimed "Dommes", all demanding adoration and tribute. 18 year olds might well know the have a dominant streak, but lacking in experience isn't a good mix. |

Have had " A Century of Lesbian Erotica" for years, never reading more than a few paragraphs at a time. Placing it back on the shelf for a year or so, eventually attempting again.
By all means the book should have been read within a day of two, but it is truly awful, cliche ridden, follows no known grammatical rule, or any ability to engage a reader.
Time to put it in the garbage.and not subjecting another to it.
Save yourself ! Don't try to read the damned thing. Blake is far more engaging, and that's saying something. |

Of course,
A federal appeals court put same-sex weddings in California on hold indefinitely Monday while it considers the constitutionality of the state's gay marriage ban. The decision, issued by a three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit.
They just can't help discriminating. |

Prop 8 lawyers are going to attempt to force the court to re-block gay weddings. It is so lovely to see the great state of California, and some citizens engaged in the vilest form of discrimination. No matter what it's currently called, the anti- gay marriage headset seems to be playing with naught more than it's self anointed superiority. Playtime at the Lets Keep it Straight Corral. |
