Recently asked why I bother being on a site like this with all the aggravations, dishonesty and disappointments.....I do it because there truly are roses among the thorns.......was going to add "and they make all the pricks bearable" but I fear that could be interpreted as impolite so I won't......

Apparently, some believe that wealth and social status are the most crucial elements to ones' character.....hmmmm.....perhaps they should consider the simple truth that 'a piece of shit in a Mercedes is still a piece of shit'......ahhh, sometimes, it's really difficult to be polite.

I do believe that many on here, contrary to their stated disillusion with the myriad of phonies and game players, truly fear communication with someone real.......fortunately, the delete button works both ways.........

Seems that some have the wrong impression of me partly because I appear to be a "nice" guy....well, I am a nice guy....I am also mature, experienced and very much in control of my own actions, emotions and thoughts.....maybe I should just let everyone know that I am never insulted, dejected, intimidated or otherwise distressed by rudeness and inconsiderate actions ----I am simply amused. Ah yes, age does have its' advantages.... |

After some "interesting" communications lately, it occurs to me that some should be aware that it is not always what you know - or don't know - that gets you into the most trouble......it is what you think you know that does the most damage......... |

Maybe I'm just getting old but whatever happened to courtesy and respect? Perhaps there are many who would find it is the lack of these qualities, as much as anything else, that leaves them sitting alone and complaining about the lack of suitable partners for their various endeavors. Just a thought....... |
