| hey, new to the site(not so much anymore), im Alex, single, unattached (the only woman in my life right now is my guitar, her name is Rosa, please dont be intimidated by her, lol), lookin to meet interesting people for an interesting time with the hopes that it turns into a full blown relationship(ideally would be normal in public/family/friends, saving all this fun stuff for behind closed doors). I tend to lean more towards the rougher/more intense aspect btw, but is by no means a deal breaker, just an added perk! If its not your thing dont let it discourage you from contacting me, theres plenty of other things to explore. Older/mature women especially. They get a gold star in my book.
A little about me: Music is my passion in this world, my favorite thing to do is just sit down with my guitar and write a song, a riff, anything! It makes me happy. I look at it like a big puzzle and its incredibly zen for me, tensions just melt away and troubles are forgotten, I think everyone needs a comparable outlet to release stress.... Ive been playing for 12 years now and truely feel it has done wonders for every aspect of my life, im extremely creative and love art (if you couldnt already tell) .Im currently in two different bands and write most of the music for both...Influences include weezer, the getup kids (hence the screen name), surfer blood, cursive and my favorite, the pixies, bonus points if youre familiar with any of the latter 4! And ill probably bring up music in some way at the beginning of any correspondance, you can learn a lot about a person based on what they listen to... Lets see, i can juggle, i can make balloon animals and im proficient with a yo-yo lol, (apparently i wouldve made a great clown in another life) i was pretty bored as a child so i thought ide learn some useless skills... Umm, i like to combine words (in context) that share similar sounds into one, more awesome-r (usually) word(i look at it like a mental exercise, i dunno, keeps me on my toes i guess and its nothing i conciously try to do, its just kinda where my mind goes and who am i to get in the way of inspiration? lol, its kinda like celebrity couple names, except ive been doing this long before brangelina was a thing... a little quirky i know... like trying to memorize license plates of cars in front of me, for no reason besides boredom) k, enough rambling.... I truely believe im am an old fashioned gentleman(my parents raised me right) and i understand your skepticism as ive been told there really arent that many of us left, but get to know me for even a minute and you'll see it.
I have a really sarcastic/warped sense of humor and a razor sharp wit, i love to make others laugh! Im awesome at trivia, (i sponge up useless knowledge like a....well, like a sponge i guess..) I love to read, David Sedaris is probably my favorite author and(anecdote alert!) i actually met him after one of his readings, it was a four hour drive to the show and then another hour in line but it was totally worth it! He was really down to earth and a pleasure to talk to, he took the pressure off of my awkwardness by shooting the shit with me like a regular person, the whole time i was in line i was worried about what i would say but he took the lead and talked to me not as a fan but as a human being, something i did not expect, love him!(platonically!)................................................ I recently got my heart broke, i thought i found the girl of my dreams and for four years i considered myself to be extremely lucky to have found something that some people never get a chance to experience but she did quite a number on my heart and as a result i went through a "why even bother" faze...enough of that though....ummm my favorite color is red(its just so in your face intense!), lucky number:17.....I was born in witch country(salem, ma) and lived there till the ripe old age of four. I have had a tremendous amount of people i care about pass away in my youth (so much so that i felt i was being punished for something) and though you never quite get used to losing someone you love you develop certain coping skills, mine is writing music and humor.
Im listed as Dominant but ive given it some thought and ive realized that labels are stupid...different people evoke different reactions, i could totally submit to a strong female dom or i could dom the right sub, its a little different than being a switch in my mind, i could never be dominant with a dominant woman and vice versa for subbing if that makes any sense... again, to sum up, i think labels are stupid... So dont be shy! Drop me a line if your interested!

Wish me luck! First show with my new band coming up on Thursday, a little nervous but super excited! Officially joined about two weeks ago and it's been a nonstop cram fest in order to get all the songs down in time for the show...getting thrown right into the fire but honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way! I can't wait until we get this show played though, then the real fun can begin (assuming you consider writing songs as much fun as I do!), it can get boring playing other peoples songs, but I don't wanna reinvent the wheel before this show (not enough time to work on new parts unfortunately) so I'm gonna be a good lil soldier and play them exactly like they sound (as boring as can be).....for now. Really wanna incorporate my sound with theirs, put my stamp on it...I feel like they still don't know what they got when they asked me to join, they've only heard the tip of my sonic iceberg, if that makes any sense? |
