On ownership:
As mentioned I am a philosopher. I studied philosophy in college for three years. The basis of philosophy is three parts logos, ethos, and impact.
Ownership is defined as possession of, singular or joint, an object, property, idea. To Own something is to harbor total rights of use to whichever extent desired. To have ownership one must first establish right and eliminate contradiction.
Possession over another requires two components: willful surrender of the object and asserted right of the possessor. The object must invariable surrender themselves without equivocation to the possessor and the possessor must, through various means, assert possession over the possessed.
Ownership entitles both possessed and possessor to certain rights, liberties, and responsibilities. The possessed has the right to exist. The liberty to break free if desired. And the responsibility to submit.
The possessor has the right to the mind, body, and soul of the possessed. The liberty to utilize these aspects freely. And the responsibility to care for, instruct, and discipline his object.
Ownership is not entitlement. It is purely dominance. One does not acquire ownership through entitlement but by forceful taking and brutal retaining.
Ownership over another is perhaps the most beautiful of life's indulgences, or more approximately, it's passions. |
