Well I just added my profile a day or two ago and I am already receiving responses. Some are thoughtful with some questions I would like to answer.  The answers I provided I will share here because I think they will fall into the category of FAQs (frequently asked questions).

I should add that I am DDF (having been tested a number of times), economically independent (so no I am not interested in returning to my past work) and in good shape (I work out 3-5 times per week).  I also add that I am a fan of travel so if you are not in this area feel free to contact me as you never know when I will be in your area or you may wish to visit here.  I am not interested in cyber or long discussions online. If it is unlikely that we will meet (even over coffee) soon, I will probably say no thank you to your inquiry.  For example, I don't plan to visit the North Pole (even for Christmas), but yes I do often travel to Europe, Central and South America, the Caribbean and occasionally the Pacific Rim.  I also regularly travel throughout the US (though mostly on either coast and the Southwest).

I also do meet and host out of towners, as many of the professional women I know travel for work and/or pleasure.

One question that came up a few involved my preferences in women.  I can say that I am incredibly attracted to smart women. I can't fully communicate in a blog just how much of a turn on a smart women is for me.  So smart women, you don't have to hide that quality from me.  As for physical characteristics, I don't have a particular fetish (large, small, tall, short etc.).  I tend to prefer women over the age of 30 and I have no top limit.  It is more the attitude of the woman and the chemistry, which is hard to establish except in a face to face meeting. I tend to find that subs (not slaves) and switches are my first choice.  Some slaves work for me if they are not "vegetative" slaves, i.e. those who just sit there and wait for direction all the time then complain about what they are asked to do.  I am unlikely to take a Domme who is under 35 or who is not a sensual Domme.  If you are an angry sadist, we probably won't hit it off no matter how old you are.

I hope this presents my take on myself and helps you determine if we might be a good mixture of personalities and sensuality.

The other responses were kind of a waste of time because they were probably sent by phonies, guys (note I am straight) or very naive people (I am not interested). Also, I know there is a portion of society that has strong negative opinions about my previous job.  However I do hope there is more tolerance with people on this site.  While I am not surprised about the comments about me, I am surprised about the comments about the women I served.  Perhaps I am naive and much less judgmental.  I think life is short and everybody is just trying to do the best they can to deal with their needs, desires and preferences.  I am looking to meet someone who is not judgmental.  

One last thought for the day.  I am bewildered by the profiles that indicate the woman has little time to spend on a relationship but complains about guys who want a quick fuck (excuse the language as that is not my usual tone) right from the start.  My advice to them is to hold off meeting guys here then since if you are limiting your face time, many of the guys who are interested in sex see that as a single to get it while the getting is good.  I am interested in forming a relationship which involves sex and includes more (whether it be friendship and/or romance).  The last time I checked it out, that requires some availability.  All of us adults work and have other commitments. However if you are interested in a relationship of any type, please don't start off by telling me you have little time to get to know me.
