Let me get a few things sorted from the beginning:
1. I am not interested in women suffering from sub-fever, or those who can't be bothered to read a profile.

Been in this lifestyle for the past ten years, a wonderful decade indeed.
Firstly, I believe that submission is never for the taking, it can only be offered and accepted. The D/S should be natural and not fabricated. The truest dominants and submissives are honest ones, with no will to exaggerate emotions, that express themselves earnestly. Will is the core of everything, if you don't wish to submit, it becomes pointless.
Furthermore, communication is key. Talking to a wall is useless. You are supposed to express worry as well as pleasure.
Initiative is a good thing, all subs should be able to take some.
I enjoy micro-management, but not to any extremes.
Whatever the process, it is to be undertaken in a slow manner.
For all practical purposes, I am a top, since dominant is something I consider an honorific. Also, I have a hard time considering a dominant without a sub or slave.
My wish is to take care of the sub, emotionally as well as desire-wise.
Control means that I also control myself.
Play is a completely separate thing from what is stated above.
All of the above goes for slaves as well.
