I get a kick out of this site. One can meet all kinds here. Sad thing is common courtesy seems out of the norm. Maybe it is because we are mostly anonymous I believe, the good conduct we have in other areas goes out the window.
Am I wrong but is a phone call to be returned maybe say within a day?
Is it rude to believe that a call/e-mail should be answered?
OK Ok the first contact I understand many get tons of e-mail and if not interested, they ignore the message-this is not nice but very common. But once a conversation is started, it seems natural to adhere to what at least WAS common. I mean if someone calls me, I call right back or at least that day.
Maybe I'm wrong in this ME generation of cell phones I pods and the like taking the place of the simple art of conversation with it's shortened words etc, but are we not here to interact with each other face to face?
Methinks common coutesy is dead-long live self absorbtion
