Someday, there will be a young woman living in my home whose joy it is to serve me. She is intelligent and articulate. She loves to have long conversations on a wide range of topics. She has opinions and can express them in a thoughtful manner. She may have gone to college. She can definitely hold down a well-paying job. She’s pretty in a girl-next-door sort of way. She loves kids, but doesn’t want any of her own. She can cook and keeps the house clean and ready for company at a moment’s notice. She is organized and manages her time well. She helps me with organization and time management because I can be a bit scatterbrained. She is very observant and anticipates my needs. She makes sure I have eaten well because she knows how I get when I haven’t. She can gauge my moods and responds accordingly. She loves me, my husband, my children, and cares for us all like a member of our family, but always remembering her place.

She is a responsive lover to my husband and me, always putting our needs and our pleasure before her own, but always willing and ready to enjoy our attention to her when we choose to give it. She loves and appreciates words the way I do and understands the difference between discipline, punishment, and training. As such, she is self-disciplined and mature, not spoiled or bratty, and she doesn’t require punishment, but knows how to ask for it if she desires or deserves it to keep her in line. She may be a trained slave. In fact I almost prefer that she will have been trained by someone else, not because I want her ready made, but because it will be so much more satisfying to take all of that and say it doesn't matter anymore; only what I want matters and I want to watch her strive to become Mine. 

She can be friend, confidante, girlfriend, lady’s maid, lover, concubine, subject, , pet, maid, nanny, personal assistant and finds equal pleasure in all these roles because her service brings me joy, peace and pleasure. She will be Mine. And I will adore her. 

So, there's a new program on Showtime called Polyamory. It's interesting getting a glimpse into different people's takes on various lifestyle issues. If nothing else, whether it's legit "reality" tv or totally scripted, it's fun to watch and gives me a glimmer of hope that we might be able to find what we're looking for. Sometimes I just need to be reminded that there are other ways of looking at things.

*Sigh* Oh, the irony.

 Being a college student I see smart, beautiful young women on a daily basis. I was lamenting internally today that all the pretty girls I am interested in are either taken or straight.  I laughed when I realized that, before I was married, I thought all the men worth having were married or gay.
