I was contacted by a female sub recently. I advised her to look at my profiles and then get back in touch with me. I was very surprised to have her contact me and have her state that "you fuck both men and women", and also the question "are you bi?" Nowhere on my profiles do I state anything even remotely like this, but having thought about this I wanted to express my disappointment and views on what the Dom/sub relationship has evolved into.
Being an older member of the lifestyle, I was educated into the lifestyle when being Dom meant that you were the Master of the scene and anyone in it. PERIOD!! Sex might have been a part of the scene, but in most cases was not. Now it seems that being Dom is just an excuse for ordering someone to their knees so as to receive sexual favors from them.
To me, being Dom means that i am trying to extract the most power from my subject as is possible within the negotiated limits which were set prior to our session. The power exchange between the sub and Dom is priority one. Hey! sex is wonderful and great, and if agreed apon as a part of the power exchange, then should be used to the utmost in order to make the experience and session the best possible. But saying that, sex does not "HAVE" to be a part of the equation, and not an expected conclusion.
I choose to use both male and female subs in order to feed my need and love for the power exchange that comes from a great Dom/sub session. Not because I am heterosexual, bisexual, or any other sexual that you can come up with. No I do not shrink away from male contact, nor do I seek it, but if they, male or female, are willing to give me the control I want over them, then I will accept, use, and bask in the glow of power.
