There's nothing more obnoxious to me than someone who thinks they can command a woman if they can't even properly command the English language. And yeah, it might get to some of you, but I absolutely refuse to fuck with the capitalization of pronouns. "I" is always capitalized, and the only way I'm uppercasing "he", "she" or "you" is if they're beginning a sentence, thanks.

Indie music suggestions, please. I'm getting tired of my music. :c

Scott Pilgrim: an awesome movie based on a more awesome comic book. Yes, I have seen it. Yes, I liked it. Also, the soundtrack is fun.

Additionally, spent too much money at the comic shop this week: I will go without food, and that's okay, because the new X-Force: Sex + Violence is amazingly fucking beautiful. Gabriele Dell'Otto, I will kneel at your feet any day.

Often, I am asked about what kind of comics I read and make. I figured I'd best get that out in the open. Mostly just because I love talking about it, though.

I'm a huge fan of indie stuff, including things like Blanket, Strangers in Paradise and Echo. I'm also a big fan of Vertigo titles -- Sandman, Hellblazer, Transmetropolitan.

I have nostalgic love for superhero comics, primarily Marvel, because that's what I grew up with.

I guess I'd give anything a try once.

As far as the comics I draw? Well, mostly it ends up kind of slice of life, journal type stuff. I'm really still waiting for the story of a lifetime to pop up in my mind.
