When you have a fairy tale fixation, armour on your Knight is an important factor, so any changes to this vital protection is of high priority and changes can have effects not considered in the approval process.   So what happens when the changes have a negative effect or the armour starts to fail? Can the damage be reversed with the question remaining in this circumstance, should it?

Traditional characteristics of armour being shiny, bright and polished to a high sheen... perhaps by minions or something as the minimum... or bare breasted Centurion maidens as the height of fantasy. I was informed recently, there was a colour change to armour and i must have missed the bulletin, sensitive new age Knights now, apparently, wear black... it is a better colour for stealth....apparently.

Unsure why a Knight requires stealth and who approved the colour change, not Maidens-in-Distress of that I am sure.

So armour now is low matte black, the implications and future career options for both minions and Centurion maidens unclear at this stage and will potentially require further investigation.   The reduction in glare, as you wait breathless for your Knight to arrive, is most definitely a blessing, with most Maidens-in-Distress now reaching that critical career stage, where crow’s lines, have now become reality no longer a potential hazard to the role.

Without the endless polishing of the new standard issue armour, will damage or frailty be identified early enough to prevent structural cracking or weakness from developing and how are Maidens meant to distinguish between the good and bad?

Black traditionally being the errant knights or wicked villain’s colour of choice, have Knights identified that there is more adventure and excitement to be discovered on the darker side… have they lost the desire to care and protect those they wish to call their own?
