Did I ever achieve my goal in the pool ? indeed I did, certainly took some effort and a little more practice than I thought, it was the last few strokes that were challenging. Should I surface and take a gasp of air or should I progress one more stroke, continue pushing, practising and then the welcome sight of the white tiles in the murk of the blue water become evident. Happy Days. |

Not a New Year resolution, more of a goal, but I would really like to swim 50 lengths crawl in 30 minutes without drowning myself. 2013 - Never did manage the 50 lengths although still alive which is a positive, and thought of a new challenge:- A full length underwater, which is sort of self induced breath play, hmmmm now what is that safe word .........glug glug glug. |
