About dwivian
True Dominate Master (tm) with just short of 30 years of experience in BDSM and making fun of the scene's excessive seriousness at times, while still enjoying ritual and protocol.
I was introduced to the concept of BDSM in 1986 by Master Wade, a Gorean Dominant I met at college who thought I would be well served learning how to express personal mastery in many aspects of life. While the lessons were interesting, the bulk of what I gained was the experience and exposure of a wide variety of play, culminating in me being tapped to monitor others for the safety of the community I was in. The play was at the height of the AIDS scare, so there was a lot of latex, alcohol wipes, and paranoia, giving me quite the awareness of "Safe, Sane, and Consensual" before it was a common term. Fluid exchange of any type was highly limited, and was considered a death threat....
...my how things have changed!
I'm comfortable with most kinks in the "your kink is not my kink but it's okay" philosophy, so long as consensual is the byword and permanent injury is minimized (outside of marking like branding, scars, or piercings).
I've enjoyed rope work, thud and sting, electrical play, and the headgames that come with lifestyle, but mostly I'm playing a light form of the game while I wait for my kids to grow up and move out. That means I either go to visit play partners or attend events if I'm interested in getting into a workout.
