I'm new to the kink scene in general. Kinda nervous about having made a profile and stuff, but life is too short to worry about stuff like that.
I'm undecided on whether sub, Switch, or Dom would be my best role since I've only played several times before. So far I've been the submissive during play and it is fitting for my personality so far, and I enjoy submitting sexually, although not necessarily outside of the bedroom. It gives me a sense of release to my everyday stresses and worries. I'm naturally tuned to try and make people around me happy, whether it's with jokes and laughter, hospitality, or compliments. I come across as a pretty easy going and fun loving person. In terms of my submissiveness, my current play partner has described me as being "almost blind to everything else, and a very loyal lover who is invredibly eager to please," and I tend to agree with her, sometimes even in non-kink contexts. I'm not a doormat by any means, and if submitting to someone (I.E. you) means that I surrender my self-respect, then count me out.
I do have dominant tendencies in good portions of my life, and I'm curious about Switching at the moment, but I suspect that I may not have the mental complex for being a Dominant. Only one way to find out though.
I should add that a very solid level of trust is something that I want to have with any person that I play with. I want any potential partners to have the same level of trust and openness with me. In any one on one situation in which one person is tying up another, there needs to be some pre-planned "Anti-Lorena Bobbit Insurance." If you don't know who "Lorena Bobbit" is, please refer to Google. I also think that it's necessary to build some sort of personal connection for a healthier relationship, whether it be play or something more serious; even with play, I think that both parties need to know each other as people and acknowledge each other's mutual and distinct personhood for a positive and trusting experience.
I tend to be an enormously protective individual, almost to a fault. I thrive on others sense of security when they are around me.
I love to hike, fish, be outdoors, and play music/sing. I love to meet new people, and while I am very eager to get into the BDSM scene, it'll probably take me a minute to get used to things.
Reading is a big hobby of mine as well. I like to grill, shoot skeet, hunt, grunt, etc.. I'm open to meeting mostly anybody.
