I send greetings to the friends I have made here over the years, and a note.
I am leaving both the area, and this site. I have only a month left here.
It is time to move on from an area shich has brought no joy or peace, and the people here who have no ethics or honesty to them.
My friends, we will always keep in touch.

The Lady is now working on a small house in the area, getting it ready for purchase/va inspection. No doubt this project will keep me busy over the next 2-3 months as it has been vacant for the past 5-6 years. |

I am seeking...a really good, authentic recipe. In actuality I seek two of them. One for lasagna, the other for sauce. You can't have a great lasagna without a wonderful sauce. Hopefully I will get an Italian or Sicilian family recipe. One was promised, but as is too often the case, he didn't follow through. |

I believe my time in this place is nearly over. My repairs/improvements have been completed, and landlord hasn't done improvments he promised.
On the other hand, I intend to buy a home this time around, and am within 2k of that coming to fruition. Finally. With One's own home, comes the freedom of being yourself and doing as you please, both inside and out. This is rather fun. |

Finally I am beginning to recover from the pneumonia. Hopefully I will be able to begin working on the repairs to this house again soon.
I thank those who sent well wishes.
Ironically, only one person said during this time he wished there were something he could do to help. What a learning experience this has been for me. |

It is a source of unfailing curiosity to me, why persons will write, and before a response is formulated, the profile no longer exists. It does make it easy to wait a day and just delete 'blacked out names' of profiles that no longer exist, but isn't it just as easy to say, sorry I made a mistake, I withdraw? For some, this quest here is not a spur of the moment issue, but one to be thought of and taken seriously. As are responses. It is simply an observation. |
