	About DomDisco With me, Honesty is absolutely the most important trait you can have. There are many things that I will forgive, again and again, even sometimes to my detriment. But if I catch you in a lie, that's it. That's trust broken. Call it the Golden Rule. I'm not looking for an insta-collar. I want to take the time to get to know each other on more than a kink level. I want someone who serves with all her heart because it's what makes her happy, not because she fears punishment. Someone cute and sweet and funny, and proud of who she is, and loves to show off to me. Someone who wants to explore a new life together, not escape the life she's in. Fans of DDLG dynamics are a big plus. (Oh, and someone who will game with me is a bonus. Stardew Valley? Minecraft? Let's build our own little world inside our own little world.) Not looking for a toilet or a punching bag, not looking for eavesdropping vanilla neighbors to think they need to call the police or an exorcist, not looking to share or pass around.

And the too-good-to-be-true meter once again proves its usefulness. Guys, if she's looking for money, gift cards, iTunes cards, or anything else like it, and you've only been talking for a day or two, just block her. If she's professing her love and devotion and you've been talking for a couple hours, block her. Anyone who's actually real, and serious about this, will not be offended by your protecting yourself. If she gets offended, block her. Don't be scammed. Be smart.

Here are some of the things I *won't* do:

-try to flirt with you, hit on you, engage in sexual conversation with you, etc. if you are Lesbian or indicate that you are not interested in men

-try to pressure you into an in-person meeting on the first chat (or, indeed, anytime before we both feel like it's a good time to talk about that)

-demand that you refer to me by some title, nickname, or anything other than my name

-demand that you declare yourself "under consideration" or "owned" or "collared" or anything else of the sort

-demand that you immediately begin obeying one or many "rules"

-demand that you take or send pictures to me (if you like me enough that showing off to me would make you happy, I don't think I would object, but that's entirely up to you, not me)

-dive directly into a chat with some kind of hardcore sexual fetish conversation (unless it's honestly expected by both of us already)

-demand that you stop talking to other people, inside or outside the fetish world

-expect that anything going on in your real life must be immediately put on hold at my whim

Update: As far as I've been able to tell "deions" is an auto-censoring of "de$criptions". It seems that for some reason the word "$cript", as in movie or telemarketing $cript , is for some reason verboten. Much like the name of the other common kink website that starts with F.

As I've planted the word I suspect of being censored, I'm about to find out if I'm right. (edit - yep, I'm right.)

I've seen a couple profiles recently that make reference to "deions". Aside from the Sanders, I have no idea what "deions" are. And for once, Google is failing me, as everything comes up Deion Sanders. Anyone that can fill me in?

You know, I might be in the minority around here (from what I've heard) but I think I'd much prefer to hear "You know, I really just don't think this is working out," instead of just being blocked mid-conversation. I can handle rejection without a freakout. And it's better than the alternative.

Of course, what would be even better would be if I knew what led up to it, so I'd at least know whether it was just incompatibility, or whether I'd done something wrong. I may not be an expert at this, but just being outright blocked does nothing to help one learn from mistakes.

Ah, blessed, blessed closure.

In other, less ambiguous news, please forgive me if I seem curt and jaded, in my profile or my journal. I've had some very bad experiences on this site. I've also had one very good experience that turned very, very sour, and one good experience that was just that, good.

In other words, I've been very frustrated with this place, but I still haven't given up hope. If I seem a little less than trusting at first, that's why. It's not fair to judge others against past failed suitors, but we all do it - especially here. I'll work with yours if you'll work with mine, and maybe we can make it worth it.
