I have wide-ranging interests on topics including literature, science and politics. I'm "take charge" but gentle most of the time (except when it's time to not be gentle ;) ). I won't be the guy who tries to dominate you through email before we've met; I believe relationships should be built first, and that no woman owes me allegiance without getting to know me and building on something.

I'm very forthright, and so I'll also here lay out things you may not like about me. The height, weight and age on my profile are accurate, but I think I carry it very well, and since I've moved to a more urban environment I'm walking and biking a lot and getting smaller. I enjoy drinking beer and wine, but not generally to drunkenness, and I never drive (or Dom) drunk.

Politically, I'm a libertarian, so I generally think people should be able to do whatever makes them happy. If you're more of a conventional liberal or conservative we'll have both a lot to agree on and a lot to disagree on - I'm comfortable with political disagreement, though, because almost no one agrees with me on everything.

On the positive side, you'll find me decisive, confident, outgoing, intelligent, funny, and supportive. I'm a great cook, and enjoy doing it. I've been told I have amazing blue eyes, though I'll admit I don't get to see them, very much.
