Night before last, me and my fiancee tried wax play for the first time.
I'm new to BDSM in general and basically am in the stage of just trying as much new stuff as possible. Let me just say out of all the new experiences I've had since I started, this has been one of if not the best!
I have a natural high tolerance for heat (and thus a low tolerance for cold - a fact that my Mistress has used to her advantage when torturing me) so the wax didn't feel burning at all. It just felt like a lovely hot stream spreading across my naked torso and it was soooo nice.
