A Master has many roles, I found out in my long journey that it is a tough road and One has to grow and mature. A good Master needs to learn the value of discipline, as he not only applies it in his little one but also in Himself. The Master also has rules He needs to follow and tough decisions He needs to make for the best of the relationship and his precious one. The job of a Master never ends. He must teach and guide His little down the right path, to help her become a better submissive and person. My experiences have show Me and taught Me so many things. Everyday is a new experience because W/we never stop learning! This lifestyle teaches you values that you do not get in regular relationships. Honesty is one of the most important things to have as well as the ability to accept One's error, to be humble and apologize after One's mistake, so We do not make the same mistake and become a better Master. A Master understands and knows His submissive is His most precious treasure. He knows He needs to be a friend, mentor, protector, guide, teacher, lover and to balance all these roles and know how to apply them in the right time and place. As my experience grows so does my knowledge. Time teaches One maturity and insightfulness, it has helped Me become wiser, more perceptive, humble and many other qualities. A great quality a Master posses is humility to accept one's mistakes then ask for forgiveness after One has done something wrong or hurting to his most precious treasure. This helps a Master to not become arrogant or selfish, think deeper than most and care more. His ability to think deeply helps Him understand his little's needs, wants, fears and pleasures. I understand One should punish or correct when the time arises. I must guide with the best of My ability, helping My little one to see the rights or wrongs, to protect her and be Her knight in shiny armor. Being a DaddyDom has taught Me to be more sensitive, playful, romantic, doing both roles being Master and Daddy is a hard job. As a Daddy I become more patient, understanding, loving and caring. Some of the most special moments I have enjoyed, is through connection and growth with my little during our quality time together, every moment we spend enjoying every second with so much passion and joy, To love someone is giving yourself fully to the one you are with, without regrets, with undying passion, accepting my little with her pros and cons, by being there for her in good times and bad. I calm her fears and listen to her dreams, protect her from nightmares and interact compassionately. When she cries, holding her tight wiping her tears away. One thing that I've learned is it is hard to find someone compatible or that I connect with. Our small numbers make it hard to do, so taking things slow is a MUST, learn about the person as one can never know someone fully. For those new in the lifestyle, remember submission is a gift, it has to be cherished and adored. Remember that a submissive is not a toy or a sexual pleasure but a person that feels and needs your love! After many years in the D/s lifestyle, I understand that every submissive is different. Many Masters in the lifestyle forget that not all submissives are total power exchange. In my own experiences I took notice that from every submissive I met or listened to, other Masters expect them all to be in a TPE (total power exchange) relationship, when many ignore the fact that there are levels in submission. Not all submissives are full time subbies, some are not into pain or masochistic. There are subbies who enjoy cuddles kisses and hugs. When I first started in the Lifestyle, I was very new to it. A friend brought me into the D/s lifestyle, so many times I wondered why I was this way. Many problems were brought to my vanilla relationships because I wanted a lot of quality time together and I was demanding (still demanding). my first group was very awkward, people that I came across were into BDSM, a lot of them referred to this as a Lifestyle. I couldn't understand why my needs were different, when the others wanted sex, sadism, masochism. I wanted someone who I could cuddle with and could kiss. Some to never complain about me being needy. always giving me what I need and would please me. When I finally found a group that I could fit in with, everything became clear, like finally someone could take the blind fold from my eyes. It helped me to understand that BDSM is nothing more than a tool for play. Not really a L/s, also it was explained to me that the difference between lifestylers and kinksters. Lifestylers are people who value a relationship, look for growth and knowledge to expand their experience, growing with strong values to build a long term relationship as both learn and grow together as one. Kinksters are those who put more interest in BDSM and its play. They really only focusing on a sexual growth, pain and other activities. also polygamy is more seen in kinksters.
