About curiousone2647
I'm interested in learning more about my 'submisive' side, but for now more interested in making friends and letting things take their course. I would to find someone who I enjoy, I'm attracted to, who is able to commit and communicate - and who feels the same about me. I think folks have to find something in common than simply an interest in bdsm. In other words, get to know someone first, and in that process explore their interests before the labeling starts. I'd suggest anyone interested in me to read my post here. Anyone interested in me might wish to check out my journal post. |

If anyone was confused by my last post, let me make myself clear:
to the subs, have you ever been abused beyond your wildest desires because
the dom you selected turned out to be more than anything you were talking about?
To the dom/mes have you ever been contronted by subs who misrepresented themselves?
OF COURSE YOU HAVE. WHY?
My point is simply this, if either a dom/me or sub misrepresents themselves, the result
is catastrophe. I am focused on avoiding castrophe.

Labels are limiting, and often hide the whole person. Unfortunately, what they hide
is what the individual, whether dominant or submissive needs to be accepted about themselves. Without that acceptance how can anyone have a successful relationship?
We need to believe we are worthy, and that can only happen once we accept our imperfections. Sometimes referred as, the courage to be imperfect.
Labels are also static. They don't evolve. They are like a photograph of a person capturing
one place, one moment in time. Ultimately, labels hide us from each other. Fearful to offer an image of something of ourselves which is dynamic, vulnerable, and imperfect.
How do we learn to embrace our vulnerabilities and imperfections so that we can engate in our lives from a place of authenticity and worthiness? How do we cultivate the courage, compassion, and connection that we need to recognize that we are enough, that we are worthy of love, belonging, and joy?

I was very honest, but she could not accept that. I promised to be there for her.
yet, it was not enough.

I realize that this won't come as any surprise to most of you, but there are a lot
of phony, self-serving, self-centered fools on this list. I'm surprised they can spell
the acronym BDSM. Come to think of it, I'm not sure they can.
The good news is that there are a lot of sincere folks as well. And I think probably
more than I' realize.
