I couldn't help but make this post after browsing profiles on here for a while... I appreciate that there are plenty of folks out there who are less than what they say they are, and that you can't judge by profile alone. That being said, I really can't help but get a chuckle every time I read "I am a TRUE sub/slave/Dom/Master/wombat" or some such. What qualifies being "true"? I would suspect that one person's definition would be much different than another's. How do you define, for an entire group, something that can only be defined within one's own personal perceptions? This is why I have little patience or interest in the BDSM community as a whole. There are some brilliant and fantastic people who are a part of it, but on the whole there is ironically too much judgement, one-upping, and plain old madness. And not the good kind.
