Hello and welcome to my profile. I appreciate you taking a moment to stop and look it over. While I do not like these little profile boxes, I shall try my best to make it worth your while.
Let us get the basics out of the way to start. I am a straight, forty-six year old, dominant male. I have been interested and active in the lifestyle for the past eighteen years.
Being dominant is a state of mind. It is not a game, and it is not a role. It is a state of being.
What does that mean to me? It means that being a dominant is a lot like being a grown up. It means knowing when to take things seriously and hen it it is time to have a little fun.
A dominant expects but does not demand respect. He accepts responsibility for all his actions. In order to be trusted, a dominant must honest.
Sadly, in my opinion, dominant has become synonymous with bully. Anyone can intimidate people with their gruff manners and abruptness. This is not Dominance.
Creating in someone the desire to obey requires a subtle seduction. It can be achieved by being both confident in yourself and elegant in your manner. It takes more than giving orders and tying someone up to inspire in them a desire to do as you wish and be at your side.
I found a quote that I really like. I think it sums up how I feel dominance is currently portrayed versus how it truly is. It is how I would like to close my profile.
