New to the scene and somewhat new to the D/s lifestyle, exploring with my wife/pet. Father of one brilliant 7 year old son. Interests include music (listening and performing), video games (my vice), and learning as much as I can about the lifestyle. Well, two anniversaries yesterday, 1 year since I put my collar around pet's neck, and 7 years since pet and I have been a couple.? I'm thankful that she and I began to explore the lifestyle together, and very thankful that we had a good foundation to build our D/s experience on.

First journal entry here, yay.....
Currently my pet and I are looking for some good places in the VA - Washington DC area. Stores, clubs, scene-friendly gathering type places. Being new to the lifestyle for the most part and not knowing where in the world we can find much of this stuff is a bit of a pain in the ass.
The very few things we've been able to find have either not quite fit or were just a bit too far out of the way, so any tips/leads would be appreciated.
Especially any good BDSM toy stores.... My pet is learning to make things like floggers and whatnot, and seeing some in person rather than pictures would help her with her creativity..... (and maybe scare her a little, good fun). |
