Obviously, an old guy, this goes without saying. Into a "Victorian/Steampunk" aesthetic. No, this is definitely not the usual Victorian BDSM style. Not even close.
I appreciate intelligence and a sense of humor, above all. As you can, see, I try not to take myself too seriously.
Recently, I have gotten more and more into a "Daddy/Teacher" dynamic in my choice of play. (But, if you are not a woman of legal age, please move on.. just sayin')

I was asked, recently, for a corporate "thing"? to describe myself in terms of popular cultural archetypes.
I think they wanted a "like-Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, but not rich yet .." type description, because no one seemed to understand "Dr. Who, on a really good day, meets Severus Snape, on a really bad day"
Oh. well.....

Some random ramblings:
24/7 D/s relationships: It doesn't really work for me. I have tried a couple times.? I sometimes would rather just have dinner, re-pot plants,? watch Dr. Who, or do something else, maybe even sleep.? Perhaps the Marquis de Sade could keep it up (yes, a bad joke)? 24/7/365, but I can't.?
I already have one? 24/7 relationship - with my job - unfortunate but true -? we should have about 100 employees, we have 7.? If we sell, I retire, move to the Islands and grow dreadlocks? (with what hair I have left) , with a couple very happy (to-be-determined) submissive? partners; If not, I get to freeze to death in a van by the river, someday in the foreseeable-future.?

Added some new things to the profile..?
To explain the odd politics, I'm an old-school (Jeffersonian) Anarchist. More Conservative than most Conservatives, more Liberal than most Liberals, Libertarian with some social skills.
Anarchist is NOT the same as Nihilist. No 'bomb-throwing", nobody gets hurt. Government doesn't just "stay outta yer' face" - it dies of neglect, replaced by intelligent people who can take care of themselves, and each other.
Won't happen in my lifetime, but a worthwhile goal.
