Ultimately it is the not the action itself but rather the intent motivating the action that matters.
A BDSM relationship, like any other relationship, must strengthen, enhance, and bring joy to both individuals rather than weaken, diminish, or frustrate either person.

I also enjoy creating photographic images, from portraits to collaring ceremonies to art, and I am always interested in the possibility of collaborating to create memorable photographs.
While I enjoy communicating through written words, in my world BDSM is something that two (or more) people do together in a room (or if they are very lucky, outdoors), and not a fantasy played out through a computer which is, functionally, a video game. I enjoy my friends I have met online who are all over the world, but I am strongly oriented towards meeting, at least in a vanilla context, as soon as is feasible. Each pairing of individuals is unique, and how it might go can be assessed only after meeting and getting to know each other.
My role in a relationship will depend on the chemistry that occurs with a particular person. I am not a chameleon, rather I am evolving within myself and in my interactions with the world.
And not least, I do like to play, taking someone on an experiential journey using my hands, my tools, my imagination and experience - and my playmates seem to enjoy what I do, riding the wave between pain and pleasure, a magic carpet ride...
What is most likely to turn me off is ambivalence, being only vaguely communicative and drifting in and out of sight. What I do, I do with passion and commitment, and if someone wants to get to know me then she should say so. Games of aloofness, lukewarm interest, and ignored plans to meet do not intrigue me, rather they cause me to look elsewhere, and I am not that desperate for company or play, in fact I am not desperate at all. I seek transcendent experiences and friendship with others who value the exchange of energy and ideas and seek to interact in positive and synergistic ways.
