I went to a local play party at 1763 tonight. Those of you in the scene here in Atlanta probably know about the place. I guess I had hoped to meet some people, but it was kind of cliquish, understandably I suppose, and there were lots of couples...also understandable.
I'm a pretty social person, so it's weird for me to feel alone in a crowd. There was just no breaking into conversation in that situation. I know that's what munches are for, but I think I've been to BDSM social events in the past that were more...eh...social??
I'm not dissing on the event at all, more just saying I;m disappointed that zero came of it in regards to connecting. |
