I think I jumped the gun a bit here, having put up a profile while getting out of a long term relationship. I didn't give myself the time I needed and just jumped in to tyring to meet new people. . I acted on emotions instead of reason (which actually isn't my normal modus operandi). I guess I just felt a bit alone for the first time in years and wanted to feel connected to the community at large in any way possible.

But now it is looking like Master and myself will be able to work through our differences and try again. . . so like "new coke" I was on the market but in a blink, realized the mistake.

But I do miss the larger community and having the support of friends and people who understand thrills and excitement as well as the unique challenges the lifestyle can present. So I'm still wanting to get out more locally and making new friends.
