I graduated undergrad two years ago in evolutionary biology, and am working on a masters, so I spend a lot of time doing research. Hopefully those help you come up with a good opening message.

So I'm finding out that some Dommes on here are just straight up asking for "donations" from people just to get their attention. I'm not saying it wouldn't work on me, because it totally would, and I'm a sucker for gifts, but it seems to leave out plenty of potential subs who would be excellent, but wouldn't want to open with a gift.
I guess what I'm saying is that while I'd love to receive or be offered gifts in your opening messages, I'm not going to ignore those who don't. It would definitely make me want to talk to you more, and a nice Christmas gift would be pretty helpful with everything that's been going on lately, but if you're actually a worthy sub, you should still be able to get my attention without it.
