About BlastTriggerson
A little about me:
I tend to be all over the place in my interests. I love to read, but oddly I'm not a big fiction reader. I like non-fiction books that are full of information. Right now I'm reading a book on the history of various poisons. It's full of fascinating facts about different poisons, and interesting stories about their various uses throughout history. I also just finished reading a book called "Final Exits: The Illustrated Encyclopedia of How We Die". It has many many many different causes of death ranging from the mundane to the extremely bizarre. Plus some pretty good stories to go along with it. Don't get me wrong though, my life isn't all about twisted and morbid things. You could throw down a philosophy, psychology, sociology, biology, ancient history, or human sexuality textbook in front of me and I'd be just as interested. What it comes down to is that I just love to learn about the world and all the things in it, good or bad. When I do read fiction it's usually something along the lines of H.P. Lovecraft or Stephen King. You know, scary horror stories.
I love art in all its forms. I was studying film, but i also love to draw, write, and take photos in my free time. Hanging around an art museum or checking out galleries for local artist is an awesome way to spend the day. I'm currently doing a long distance collaboration with an old friend who lives in California on a possible graphic novel. We're writing the story as a team, and then I'm drawing it all out on paper. I'm really excited about it, and I'm hoping to turns out to look just as amazing on paper as it does in my head. I'm also trying to become more musically inclined. I don't have much musical experience though, except for an odd story about how I accidentally ended up learning to play the flute. I really want to get a Korg Electribe EMX-1 and goof around with it and see what happens.
This next part I always seem have trouble explaining to people. I can never seem to figure out the right words to use. I like to go on adventures. Exploring a city I've never been to, or even hiking through the wilderness is appealing to me. There's a million different things waiting right outside your door, and all you have to do is go outside and walk around to find them. New places, new people, new things, or even old places/people/things that you've already found but are still worth loving. Some of the best days/nights of my life have started out by wandering around with no real place to go. You should try it sometime.
I'm a really laid-back kind of person, and I'd say I'm really easy to get along with. I try to just have fun with life and not take things too serious. I mean there's enough bullshit in the world as it is, so I might as well be able to laugh at it, right? |
