About Blasius
Greetings and Salutations.
My name is Blasius. Obviously not my given name, but the name I identify with within the lifestyle. I am a 48 year old dominant male.
A dominant person enjoys being with a submissive person. Reasons for this include a desire for personal power; being the object of devotion; and having the resources and abilities of another human at their disposal.
I believe in the natural order, which states that males have a predisposition to be more dominant, and females have a predisposition to be submissive. However, I also think that, male dominance is a generality, not an absolute. I know that males are not more intelligent nor have more wisdom than females, but are usually just physically stronger.
Being a dominant has nothing in common with being domineering, in fact one is a contradiction of the other. A ruffian will intimidate people with gruff manners and abruptness. A respectful dominant does not rule arbitrary, based on choice or that of a personal whim.
A dominant is a chivalrous, sensitive, honorable, well mannered man. He does not posses an unbridled supremacy or limitless power. Only the power in which his submissive has granted to him and she should have to authority to revoke this power at anytime for any reason.
While I tend to be a calm, relaxed and laid back man. There is one thing that is very important to keep in mind. I existed before Grey was synonymous with D/s and I shall exist long after he is forgotten. |
