Time for a rewrite, new profile appearing soon...

I've had a difficult time expressing what I'm honestly looking for in another person. To that end, I've decided to make an attempt at describing what I'd feel is an ideal situation. I realize that what's ideal and what's reality can be very different from each other, but at the very least it should provide more insight into me and what I'm seeking. This is very much a work in progress, so expect changes and refinements as time goes on.
If I were to put myself into one of the traditional BDSM labels, I would say that I'm a switch. When I discovered the lifestyle, I was fortunate enough to have a experimental friend to try different things with. As I learned more I identified as a dominant, and spent several years exploring that side of my life.
Even in the early days of playing with ropes and cuffs, I had a special attraction to restraints and bondage from both perspectives. So while I grew as a dominant, there were times where I was envious of my submissive, squirming and struggling while I watched. I have been lucky enough to have a few experiences where I was placed into bondage at the hands of a lover, and it was wonderful each and every time.
I'm not interested in complete male submission, it's not something I feel is part of me. I do have some fantasies that could be considered submissive, but aside from some light play and teasing, my interest is primarily bondage focused.

While I very much enjoy an upturned bottom bent across my lap, I don't consider myself a sadist. For me, the attraction to spanking isn't based in inflicting the pain of a spanking, but the reaction it provokes from the person being spanking.
Nothing against masochists, but if you're looking for someone to 'hurt' you on a regular basis, you'll be more satisfied with someone who has more sadistic qualities. But spankings... well that's fair game. :) |

So I found the toybag in the back of the closet while looking for some camping clothes. I decided to toss it up on the bed and go through what's in there. I spent an hour or so checking each item for wear, set a few things aside for minor repair later, and generally enjoyed the memories attached to every toy I came across.
