First, a bit about vanilla life:
I'm a firefighter, pre-med student and pro photog (as opposed to "guy with a camera"). I try to combine left and right brain thinking to come up with something cool, and it usually works. I enjoy high pressure situations.
What I'm looking for:
I like meeting good people that have a kink. Sometimes that simply means following a twitter feed, and other times it means forging a lifelong friendship.
So many people here only talk about their kink. I understand that tendency in the context of this site, but you are supposed to have kink, not be it. So one of the first things I like to know is how you define yourself in vanilla life.
Ok Ok, on to the juicy stuff:
I love both sides of the crop. I love the idea of serving in a rural poly household, but thus far the whole trying to be a doctor thing has made such a life impractical.
I love breath play with people I trust. I love giving and receiving strict bondage. The d/s aspect is thrilling. I love the cessation of identity as "a student, a nurse, an artist, whatever" so that the identity of fucktoy is allowed to take over. This is true for bottoming and topping. My favorite scenes last for an evening or a weekend, but those that last an hour are sadly more common. Pain is nice when done properly, and of course fetish clothing is a necessity. I'm interested in the visual element of bondage as well as the sensual. A friend asked me to tie her Shibari style. It was new to me but it was a fun experience! I really enjoyed the tying and resulting photos. Oh! And

Oh, and I have some woodworking skills. I'm currently working on an awesome bed frame with several other pieces in the works. Its nice having a dedicated play space!
What I'm not looking for:
It seems like the main stream lumps kinksters in with crazies. If you are one that reinforces that perception, we probably won't get along. That said, there is a world of cool people out there. If you are one of them, I'd probably like to meet you. Friends, play partners, or organic chem nerds are all people I'd like to meet.
