About Beatnic
Rule 62... Sober, not into drunk play or PnP, a bit Sub, a lot playful, into vintage cars, motorcycles, skateboarder, homeowner and starting a ranch, partner in a wonderful company working in the wine business (ironic, being that I'm an ex drunk).
San Francisco native, born & raised in North Beach and moved to the country just an hour out of the city. Raising goats and chickens and mini horses. I'm an ol' skateboarder, (still do it, my fountain of youth!) punk (rocker) that grew up as far as meeting all my responsibilities but didn't sell out, one of the most brilliant things i've heard is what Cory from Die Hunns said: "the most punk thing i've ever done is take responsibility for my actions" and i, too try to live by that 'code'... i'm too busy and perhaps a bit jaded to go out and do the nightclub thing but am always up to check out some good music. home owner, good job, good friends and room for more, i love to run and play and prefer cartoons to the news, i live a spiritual life but am not a zealot, i don't drink but am not a prude but i do prefer coffee houses to bars. i love to people watch and make up fantastic stories about them, i once saw a sumo wrestler and a 70s era wrestler locked in a death grip at the in 'n out burger joint in rohnert park. i am adventuresome and curious in ALL aspects of my life, into classic cars, i work on 'em myself as much as i can, a little bit greaser as i like the 40s/50s cars, traditional values and music of that time; doo-wop, western swing and bluegrass. the style, architecture and design, too. i'm a bit artsy but not artistic, love art and am a frustrated critic at times, a dilettante one might say... music; prefer old vinyl to cds, cassette over mp3, vhs over dvds, i enjoy movies that are left of center i.e. lynch, raimi, jarmusch, waters, wenders, burton, welles, hitchcock, ed wood, old film noir, old universal studios horror, hammer, zombies, old disney, foreign films, black and white film, films at art houses in S.F. rather than at the STADIUM THEATER with 100 SCREENS and 20:1 HIGH DEF DOPPLER DIGITAL DOLBY THX SURROUND, flea markets, garage sales, urban exploration, daydreaming, hunting cloud animals, taking a trip, not taking a trip, talking not talking, going out, staying in, drives to nowhere in particular or with a destination in mind. so check back as this is ever changing.
