I'm looking for an ongoing, romantic relationship with another kinky person: like a vanilla relationship, only a different flavour.
I'm a grad student, just finishing my PhD. I really like to read (nonfiction mostly, these days) and make music when I find the time. I'm into electronic music, graphic novels, old text adventures, programming, politics, architecture and design, urban exploration...a lot of different things.
Most people who meet me in everyday life probably wouldn't describe me as either dominant or submissive: I'm very independent. I don't really get off on pushing people around in the vanilla world and I'm not a doormat either (and wouldn't want you to be one). In the bedroom, on the other hand...
As far as kink goes: I'm a switch. I enjoy both domination and submission equally, but in different ways. I don't need to switch roles back and forth with any one person, although that does make things interesting. I have a reasonable amount of experience as a dominant and as a submissive (less as a submissive), and really want meet a relationship-oriented switch, dominant, or sub that I can relate to outside of the boudoir. I'm not really looking for 24/7; more of a bedroom---or at least part-time in private---kink aspect to the relationship is what I'm hoping for.
Because I'm a switch and know why surrender is so satisfying, I think I make a pretty good dominant.
