Life has been busy the past few days. My lovely granddaughters, ages 3 & 5, are staying with me until tomorrow and let me say, I know why we have our children when we are younger. One is sleeping now and the other is enthralled by "Mike the Knight" on NickJr, so I am taking a break for a moment. Going to be time to make dinner very soon. We had a nice afternoon, spent about 4 hours in the backyard. They played in the pool, blew bubbles, watered almost every plant and bush in my yard. LOL... such simple pleasures make them happy. It was fun to watch. I need a nap!

What a beautiful day! I am working in my garden this morning before it gets too hot and muggy. Need to pull weeds...always... and have a few things to plant. I really need to find a yard boy. I have an idea for a type of Zen garden back in a shady corner of my yard. Then, I would like to finish cleaning my basement. Well, I am not a home owner yet!!! This whole process of buying a house has turned into a huge frustrating ordeal in many ways. And it all comes down to someone not doing her job at the mortgage company.

Spring is almost here.... except for that bit of snow we had this morning! Snow and daffodils, what a combination.
Life has been very busy. Too much work, trying to buy a house, going thru some stressful situations, and on top of all that.... I just had a birthday and I am getting way too old. I really and truly cannot believe that I am 50 years old. That just amazes me. I don't feel 50, I don't look 50, so why do I have to be 50????????

Happy New Year to all.
Hard to believe it is 2009 already. I can remember being in high school 30 some years ago and thinking the concept of the year 2000 was just so unbelievable. Life sure does fly by!
Life is going well for Me. Working hard and enjoying doing that again. Although I do miss being at home and doing those domestic things as well as having the time to chat with some friends and arrange for some visits now and then.
I am in the process of trying to buy a house. I've found one that I really want so I am starting the paperwork. The house needs some interior work and the kitchen needs redone. Think 1970's and old metal kitchen cabinets!!!! Yuck! Brown linoleum and strange tan and brown wall paper.... double yuck! The outside has been completely redone and looks wonderful. Colonial style house and the inside has original wood work and hard wood floors under ugly carpet. Wonderful yard and front porch, with some landscaping. Big double car detached garage. Place has character! Anyway....... I am trying! Will be my first house to own..... yippppppeeeeeeeee!

What a wonderful weekend..... we went to the Greek food festival on Friday night.... yummmmmmm..... Shopping and running errands on Sat. Then Sat. night, met some friends for dinner to celebrate someone's birthday at MB's & Company in downtown York... about 20 of us... great food. Afterwards, we all went over to the Strand Capital for a concert, Barleyjuice, an Irish rockband. They were totally awesome!!!! The opening group was the Susquehanna Pipe and Drum group.... bagpipes and drums. They were great also.... bagpipes are such an interesting instrument. I've always wondered who and why someone ever invented them. It was a fun fun evening. Then Sunday morning, I was served breakfast in bed which is always a wonderful treat. My vanilla guy does spoil me and treats me like a queen..... now if I could just get him interested in worshipping my lovely feet!!!!! He doesn't even like rubbing lotion on my feet or my legs.... makes me want to just cry sometimes. I do miss that special attention of someone who loves foot worship. I am trying to decide if it would be cheating if I acquired a very special foot slave...... hmmmmmmm. I do know it would totally tick me off if he had any sort of female slave for anything!!!!!!!!!!! Such a dilemma!

Fall is here, beautiful colors on the trees, cooler weather, football games, Homecoming, all those wonderful things that make fall a great time of year.

Summer is almost over and I haven't done near the things I wanted to do..... time flies. It has been a good summer and I have had some fun. Actually going to the beach again this weekend for 4 whole days.... yippeeeeee!!!! Going to get some serious beach time in, love to sit on the beach, read, and listen to the waves and watch the people. We are going to Ocean City MD again which is always fun. Plan on going to Secrets one night and I just might get a little drunk!!! It's been a long time! I think the last time was my birthday back in April or maybe it was with a lovely subbie from New Jersey and a bottle of his homemade wine. I think that was the best wine I've ever had!
We are staying a half block off the beach which is wonderful, I can get up early and go for a walk, watch the sun come up, and be totally alone for a bit.
I am getting ready for my new job. So excited yet nervous at the same time! It will be fun!

I have had some new experiences the past couple weeks... unfortunately no new BDSM stuff, but some fun things.... I will be starting my new job soon. Don't know if I am ready to become a responsible working member of society again.... but that is life and I have no choice since I need money to live and really need health benefits. Winning the lottery would be much more fun!!!!

I can't believe it is July 1st already! Time flies when you are having fun! Ocean City was great! Had the best crabs ever. Walked on the beach as the sun was coming up. Went to Assategue (sp) Island. We had a wonderful time! Can't wait to go back! Hopefully, we will go at the end of the month for a few days.
As I stated in My profile, I am taking a break from Collarme for awhile. My new guy is taking up most of My free time and we are enjoying life! He has the time and energy just for ME and treats Me like a Queen. So for now..... I am devoting My time to this relationship.

Summer has arrived!!!! It was so hot in Texas... I even wore shorts in Feb and March, but there was not the humidity there that is in PA....Not sure which is better, the 105 degrees in TX or the the 90 some degrees here and the humidity...dangggggg! I broke down last week and bought an air conditioner for My bedroom.... I thought I could get by with a fan... LOL!!!!
Life has been interesting and fun! There are a couple boys that I really miss seeing and talking to, but they seem to have disappeared. Oh well.... their loss!

Just wanted to say that I had the best time on My vanilla date on Monday! First date! It was quite an experience being with someone who actually liked Me for Me!!! Someone who wanted to be with Me and had no expectations other than having fun. He brought Me peach roses and a case of bottled water because I had mentioned on the phone that morning that I was out. That was thoughtful, now wasn't it? We spent about 10 hours together. Went down to Gunpowder Falls state park in MD, walked along the creek and just talked and talked. Then back to York to a friend's house for crabs and a cook-out, then over to his brother's for drinks. Great time! Great people! And you know what the most amazing thing was..... this vanilla guy was so attentive, so sweet, and so nice.... making sure that I was always comfortable, had whatever I needed..... It was wonderful. We went out to dinner again last night..... just a very nice time.... He likes to go and do things.... and we've talked about different things we like to do and places we want to see. Now..... When I was growing up, until I graduated from high school, we had a yearly tradition on visiting cemeteries on Memorial Day. We went to the cemetery in my home town, placed flowers on family members and friends' graves and we went to my Mother's hometown which was 30 miles away. It was an all day event ending with a huge extended family picnic in the park. I remember my parents and grandmother telling stories about the people whose graves we visited and how we should honor them with our memories. And one of the best ways to remember them was to visit their graves and tell stories. I talked to my Mother yesterday and they were on the way to the cemetery, they have 16 graves they will visit and place flowers on. Great grandparents, grandparents, cousin who died in Vietnam, great uncle who was the best gardener, and others. Such wonderful memories and some regrets that I didn't spend more time with each of them. I try to remember that now and stay closer to my family and friends. It is hard since most of my family lives in Oklahoma. We do the best that we can. And I will take a moment or two today, to think of those who are no longer with us, I hope you do the same.
And.......... I have a "VANILLA" date today! I feel so very strange.... have not gone out on a vanilla date in over 24 years..... but he is a nice guy and likes to explore and see new things, so I am giving it a try.

The first thing you need to understand about meeting a mistress

– later on in the relationship. As an opening line, however,
generally it sucks.
Whatever happened to good old-fashioned courtship? Try treating
a potential mistress as a person first, a woman second, and a dominant
female third, and then if the response is good, as potential sexual
partner. There’s no magic formula here. You are going to have
to feel your way. Communications and human relation skills will
get you a long way down the road.
If you are going to attract a dominant female, you will have to

Life is interesting......and full of changes. This has been a busy week in different ways, but the main change has been a big one. Want to know one of the things I really miss about not having that one special subbie? I miss having fresh flowers in My home. The sun is shining in my bedroom window right where my keyboard was laying.... my cat kept trying to lay across my keyboard to get that full benefit of the sun... hard to type with a big black cat on the keys. I am making turkey pot pie today.... yum. Leftover turkey and bones are boiling now and it smell so good. Now both cats are on my desk.... soaking up the sun! I have to be careful where I take off my rings or earrings, because they will play with them. My car was checked today by a local garage suggested by a dear subbie friend.......... now I know why my car is making strange noises.... I really need a car maintenance subbie to do all those little things that need to be done to keep a car in good running shape........ The car needs new bearings on the right front wheel, the mechanic asked me if I had heard that sound and I said yes, every since I bought the car in Nov. And he replies, well it is not suppose to make that sound. Great! Then he showed me the left rear wheel and I saw this lovely 1/4 inch or so wide silver band the whole way around the inside of the brake drum...which is not good. I need a new brake drum, new brake pads, a new brake spring kit, and something else......I forget..... He could shake the brake pads and move the springs which aren't suppose to do that and one of the springs was bent. He showed me the way it is suppose to be on the other side............ So, now I have to decide what to do. It has to be taken care of and soon!!!!!
But right now, I am going to soak in a very hot bath to try and relax. Too much tension and stress, my shoulders and back ache! Calgon take me away.......... would much rather have some subbie take me away with his magical massaging fingers and hands.

Ok......you mechanic boys.... I love to garden and enjoy visiting public gardens. This morning I watched the PCN tour of the Felicita Gardens which are beautiful and near Harrisburg. I had never heard of them and couldn't believe all the different gardens! I looked up the gardens online and discovered that they are part of a huge resort with spas, golf and more. What a wonderful treat it would be to spend a few hours touring the gardens, then experiencing a pampering spa treatment.....

Why is it that so many of the submissive men I've encountered seem to think
that the title Domme precludes being a Woman? It's as though they believe that

My weekend was very nice. I was in "Aunt" mode Fri night and all day Sat. What fun! I enjoyed the party.... watching 7 little boys run wild..... but they had a great time. What a busy and wonderful weekend I had! We had our first munch with the PADommemalesub group on Sat. with nine people showing up for brunch. I had a beautiful evening at the play party on Sat night at the club in Baltimore. There were a couple of demos at the beginning of the evening.... a spanking demo by a very talented male Dom on a willing female subject. We had a great day in Baltimore on Sat. I went with a FemDom couple and we went shopping at Chained Desires....oh my, lots of special things there! Then we went to Fells Point to the PowerXchange by Nina which has fantastic alternative clothing, shoes, and accessories. I found several things there that I liked! Both stores have a variety of merchandise and the people are very friendly and happy to assist you in anyway! Thank you Tori and Arthur!
We went to dinner at the Red Star and the food was great! Yummy!

I had a wonderful time at the play party yesterday and I have added to my collection of photographs (all of ME) and have posted a few new ones here on collarme. Hopefully, they will be approved!
When we left the party, my car would not start.....OH MY....someone tried to jump it to no avail. Called and waited for a tow truck, which towed me back to PA. Today, I tried to start it and it started right up! Darn car! I went ahead and drove it to a garage and they did diagnositic tests and my battery was going bad. So now I am much poorer....$164 for the tow and $140 for the battery and stuff. I absolutely HATE having car problems. Such an inconvenience, especially after a delightfully relaxing afternoon and evening! And there is nothing like riding 50 some miles in a tow truck with some uncouth non-stop talker!
