I am back after a long hiatus. Interesting to to see how collarspace (collarme for the old timers) has evolved. I left after it got overrun with fakes and scammers. From a brief look, it seems the number of active users (at least of women) are way down. Perhaps that is a sign that the riffraff went on to troll somewhere else.
After a long period overseas I am back in the states and looking to set up a house. I am in no rush to fill it or my life with troublesome folk. But, I am interested in finding one or two submissives that are a good emotional and sexual fit.
The challenge I have found in the BDSM community (and yes, I am not new to the life) is the Goldilocks problem -- neither too hard or too soft but just right. We all (and by that I mean civilians and BDMS veterans) have our preferred range of deviance from vanilla to extreme.
Unfortunately for me, people tend to clump on one end or the other on the continuum. Here I am stuck in the middle (with you?). I am not a sadist, misogynist, abuser, or fetishist. I am a caretaker-dominant and enjoy a relationship that has a significant power exchange dynamic. The way that manifests itself will be explicit yet sometimes subtle. Cages and other contrivances are not required but rope, canes, leashes and collars are fun accoutrements.
