For me, BDSM is like wasabi. It adds a nice spice to a relationship and helps bring out the flavor, but it's no substitute for a relationship itself. I realize that not everyone (most?) shares this veiwpoint, and that's great. I hope everyone integrates bdsm into their life to a degree that makes them happy. And I'm self aware enough that I know that I'm not looking for a 24/7 lifestyle, but that I am looking to enhance relationships.
In addition to dom/sub/switch women, I checked the friends only box. That's kind of a casualty of the strict box-checking interface. What I really want is to be friends with ALL of those with whom I'm in relationships, no matter the degree of casualness or intimacy. I want the lives of those with whom I connect to be better for having met me, BDSM play or no. I hope that those whom I meet through this community feel likewise. I hope that in addition to sharing kinky fun, we grow as people. Even if kinky fun isn't on the menu at this time, I still would love to be friends with positive-minded souls.
