I am wondering by now who these doormats are that everybody is talking about. They must be the lowest of the lowest. Surely no-one thinks about himself as a doormat, in the same way that everybody thinks he has plenty of common sense.

There is a lot of overlap in the profiles that I happen to look at. I suspect that at least a part of the explanation for this phenomenom must be that dommes never, ever read each other's profiles.

A pattern in my own browsing: I tend to be put off by profiles with a lot of photo's, and by profiles with long lists of preferences. How can that be? Exuberance should be bliss, right? 

I am sure there must be some convoluted yet deep and significant correlation between a woman's character and the amount of shoes she possesses, as well as the average height of their heels. There must be. Why else would it matter so much to me? Or could I be the sexual equivalent of a medieval alchemist, devoting much of my attention to noble but misguided purposes?

Why do so many dominant ladies feel the necessity to start their profile with a list of warnings, cave canems, ignore threats and capitalized up-front abuse? The male subs on this site must be an obnoxious lot. But is it really this bad? After browsing profiles for an hour, I feel unwanted, superfluous and generally worthless. That cannot be the intention of this site, or its female visitors for that matter...
