Had to change the intro. I just noticed I haven't changed it since last Christmas! Have to pay more attention! Although I've known I have submissive tendancies since my teens, I didn't have the knowledge to call myself a submissive woman until my twenties. My first introduction to BDSM was my discovery of some Victorian erotic literature ("The Pearl"), and that was when I knew that D/s needed to have some part in any relationship I had.

I enjoy hockey, baseball, historical non-fiction, archaeology/anthropology, jewelry making, hiking, camping, and playing the tourist in my home state. Hey, it's Alaska; how could I NOT enjoy some of the great outdoors!....except in winter....BRRRRR!!

Fetishes aren't a big part of my life except for breast/nipple bondage and rubber floggers (both on the receiving end), and the smells of cedarwood and fresh earth (just the smell). Although with the right person or persons, I think I would like to try electrical play and adventure beyond simple butt plugs, and some pussy torture. Arrgh! It's happening again. Once more I'm receiving emails from people who don't pay attention to their spelling and grammar. Dominate is a verb, not a noun; the proper term is the adjective Dominant when describing someone. Okay, short rant is over.

Been seriously considering lately of having myself tied motionless so I can't move, and enjoying myself while enduring a hard flogging, nipple and pussy torture, and a serious ass-fucking.  Dammit, I can't wait to find someone I want to do that to me.

"Take This Job and Shove It"  by Johnny Paycheck

"16 Tons"  by Tennessee Ernie Ford

anything by Pink

Eminem

"A Boy Named Sue"  by Johnny Cash

Anybody have more suggestions?

Even  more than the picture-proof of UBL's death, I want to know what (if anything) the SEALs said right before they shot him in the eye.

My money is on "Yippee-kye-ay, motherfucker!"

Gotta love Bruce.

I'll be semi-away from the site for awhile.  The motherboard on my laptop decided to die on me, so now I have to borrow/use someone else's computer to do things that my iPad won't (such as anything that requires Flash player).  The whole week has been crappy for me:

  • Motherboard is dead
  • Can't chew steak or raw veggies for three weeks
  • Had to put my cat to sleep on Wednesday
  • She bit me while tranquilizing her before "THE" shot
  • Spent over 5 hours in the ER on Thu getting IV antibiotics
  • And the rest of the weekend will be fuzzy with Vicodin
  • I'm waiting to hear about a job
  • And the hand doctor's office has named me "The Cat Lady"

I've definitely made my insurance deductable this year!

What do you call it when your body is saying its horny, but your nowhere near the mood mentally or emotionally?  I call it "ants-in-the-pants."  Comments, anyone?

I know there are some people who wonder about my screenname, so here's the simple explanation.

It's not a jumble of letters, it has a specific pronounciation.  It's really the surname I use on which ever MMORPG I'm playing currently.  No biggie.  And no connection to my real name, so privacy is at least somewhat assured.

Due to recent emails sent to me and profiles I've read recently, I refer you to my very first journal entry.  I'm not referring to the occasional typo--I make them myself sometimes--but am referring to the repeated improper use of the wrong spelling or term (even when the spelling is correct).  It sounds weird, but calling oneself a dominate person--an improper use of a properly spelled word--is a major turn-off for me.  The correct usage is "A Dominant man will be the one to dominate in a relationship."

Okay, so that previous entry might look a little weird, but I'm a geology freak.  My idea of fun while on vacation is local geology sites and history museums when possible.  Well, to be honest, I visit Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee for catfish and hushpuppies (YUM!), the story of
Reelfoot is just dressing after the first time.

Job Scam Alert!  I've received a couple of emails here recently that were claiming they had a possible job for me.  I'm not talking about a submissive in a live-in maid type of job.  Just wanted to make people aware.

To those who send me these "job" offers, I do report these scam emails through the proper channels, so don't waste your time.

Just a small pet peeve:  Dominate is a verb (action)...Dominant is a noun/adjective.  If you are the Dom, than you should use the descriptive "Dominant", and say that you like to "dominate" (action) a submissive.

I grew up with an English teacher for a mother, so my spelling and grammer skills are very good.  When I see someone misspell or use the wrong spelling it becomes like nails on a chalkboard to me.  This does not mean that I never use eponyms or emoticons, just that I won't pay much--if any--attention to emails or profiles that show a lack of attention or consideration...a profile (to me, at least) is a snapshot in words of a person and his character, and the little things can carry a BIG impact.
