Tacoma, it started raining the day I arrived and has only paused for hours at a stretch. I've been here five weeks. The hotel is in a gritty part of town choked with casinos, even in the rain, people with too little to do wander the streets at all hours. Sirens announce that mischief has been discovered and cops converge. |

Paperwork! so much of my life is consumed with documentation, licenses, applications, and contracts. Comes with the life of a locum tenens medical professional, an essential evil to insure that everyone is covered--but I could certainly do with less of it (Maybe I should add "Executive Assistant" to the description of the partner I'm seeking)
Even while visiting friends in South Carolina for Thanksgiving, the fax occasionally disgorges a splotchy form for my inscription and return.
