There are a few things that people should know about me. Okay, mainly two. One is that I do live in Nova Scotia, Canada and I am not moving from Nova Scotia. I have my reasons. One of them is I am safer around my family. This is due to reason two - I'm epileptic. I have been seizure-free for two years now. But I am medically controlled and my trigger is sleep deprivation. I'm also light sensitive - it won't cause me seizures but changes in light can cause me dizzy/lightheadedness and strobe lights disorient me to the point where I have no clue where I am, what I'm doing or why I'm there.
I can work around this - not all flickering lights cause me to be that way, only fast moving ones. The others just make me dizzy. But I do know this and I will be honest about anything you ask about my seizures. I have been known to take Petit Mal and Grand Mal, and nocturnal seizures aka when I sleep. That's really all. I might just add this to my bio, but I felt this was better. |
